The production confirmed Sachdeva’s role in The Peasant and identified the project as A24’s first film made in India. Patel directs and co-wrote the screenplay with Will Dunn, with Christian Friedel, Anasuya Sengupta, Sebastian Bull and Vipin Sharma also featured.
